Shrimati Raj Kumari Pandey; 2 s.; Advocate and Agriculturist; previously associated with Bhartiya Jan Sangh; imprisoned for about 4 months under Defence of India Rules during emergency, fought against forced levy and went on fast; Vice-President, (i) Bhartiya Jan Saagh, Banda District, (ii) Educational Institution, Ainchwara, Banda District, contested 1974 Legislative Assembly Election on Jan Sangh ticket but lost. Social activities: Struggled for the social uplift of Banda District; formed Kisan Mazdoor Sangh and worked for the welfare and protection of peasants and workers and for the backward Patha area of Bundelkhand.
