Ram Kumari Kachwai November 21, 1961; 4 s. and 1 d.; Social Worker and Trade Unionist; previously associated with Jan Sangh, Participated in the Sutyagraha against ban on B.S.S. and was jailed for two months; went on 28 days hunger-strike and suffered imprisonment for 57 days in support of the demand of the workers of Shri Gopal Paper Mills, Yamuna Nagar, 1963; imprisoned several times in connection with political movements; Remained under detention for 19 months and 10 days during the emergency.
