Ganga Devi, 1942; 3 s. and 3 d.; Retired Indian Administrative Service Officer and Social Worker; was in State Civil Service from 1947 and Indian Administrative Service from 1960; Sub-Divisional Magistrate for about 7 years; Additional District Magistrate for about 3 1/2 years; Deputy Secretary Personnel Officer, O.N.G.C. for about 3 1/2 years; District Magistrate and Collector in various Districts for about 9 year; General Manager in a  Sugar Mill  for two year;  Joint Development Commissioner; Commissioner for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes;  Secretary to  Government of U.P., Harijan and Social Welfare Department; Commissioner, Lucknow Division for about 4 years and at present Member, State Planning Commission, U.P.
