Question : LAND POOLING POLICY



(a) whether regulations for implementation of the land pooling policy of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have been finalized/ notified and if so, the details thereof;

(b) if not, the time by which regulations are likely to be notified / finalised;

(c) whether the Government has initiated the implementation of the policy and identified villages and land for development in Delhi;

(d) if so, the details and present status thereof indicating the details of location of land and names of all the villages identified zone-wise including PI; and

(e) the time by which the said process is proposed to be completed and the land is likely to be handed over for construction purpose?

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT (SHRI BABUL SUPRIYO)

(a) and (b): No Madam, the regulations for implementation of the land pooling policy of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have not been finalized/ notified and no time frame has been fixed for the same.

(c) and (d): DDA has informed that ninety five (95) villages have been identified for declaring as development area of DDA in which the land pooling policy will be applicable. Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has been requested by DDA to declare these 95 villages as development area of DDA. The zone-wise list of these villages is given at Annex-1.

DDA has further informed that eighty nine (89) villages have been identified for declaring as urban villages. Concerned local bodies viz. South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) and North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) have been requested by DDA to declare these 89 villages as urban villages. The zone wise list of these villages is given at Annex-2.

(e): No time frame can be fixed for the same.
