(a)Whether the official incharge of Urban Development and
Water Supply of various States have held a meeting with the
World Bank officers with a view to extend loan assistance to
Indian States for the Urban Development and Water Supply and
Sanitation Schemes;
(b) If so, the details of discussion held in this regard;
(c) Whether the World Bank officials have putforth some
conditions for extending in loan assistance for this purpose;
(d) If so, the details thereof; and
(e)The measures taken/being taken by the Government in
this direction?
