Faridpur, the Scottish Churches Collegiate School, Calcutta, the St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College, Calcutta, Law College and Post Graduates Deptt., Calcutta University, and the Honable Society of Lincon's Inn, London; m. S. School. Hobbies: Motor Cycling while a student in England, 1926—30; swimming in lakes and mountaineering while in Switzerland, 1927-28; horse-riding in early youth; practice of "Hatha Yoga." Favourite pastime and recreation: Visiting places of historical interests and holy pilgrimage; likes nature Seas and mountains. Special interests: Spread of education among children of backward classes in rural areas; village reorganisation and reconstruction. Sports and clubs: Football, cricket, hockey and tennis in school and college days; was member of swimming clubs while in Brighton in England.
