Pensioners' Association 1951—53; Vice-President, Jamiatul Ulemae-Hind Maharashtra; Vice-President, City Congress, Jalgaon; has been working for Hindu-Muslim Unity, removal of untouchability and prohibition of alcohol and tobacco.
