Shrimati Binda Rani Choudhary, 2 s. and 1 d.; Political and social worker and writer; active Congress Worker since student days; participated in Satyagarha in 1930, 1932 and, 1942 and served various terms of imprisonment—first time imprisoned at the age of 10; was Personal Secretary and Private Secretary to Dr. Rajendra Prasad, first President of India; undertook various social activities especially the upliftment of Harijans and Adamjatis. Hobbies: Literary work and gardening. Special interests: Gandhian philosophy, khadi spinning and prohibition. Publications: (i) Rashtrapati and Rashtrapati Bhavan; (ii) Rajendra Babu ka Vyaktitva; (iii) Rashtrapati Bhavan ki Diary; (iv) AJ at Shatru; and (v) Anjali. Travels abroad: Nepal.
