ANIRUDHAN, SHRI K., B.A., B.L.. Comm. (M), (Kerala-Chirayinkil-1967): s. of Shri Krishnan; b. February 28, 1927; ed. at University College, Trivandrum and Law College, Madras; m. Shrimati K. Sudharma, June, 1961; 2 s.; editor, printer and publisher of 'Viswakeralam' daily; previously associated with the Students' Congress, Kerala Socialist Party and C.P.I.; expelled from High School for taking part in national movement and jailed for some time. Secretary of the Travancore University Union, 1951-52; detained in 1962 and 1964; was President, Indo-Soviet Cultural Society, Kerala, was Councillor of Trivandrum Corporation; President of some Trade Unions; President of Colony Federation (a colony of slum dwellers in Trivandrum); Member, Kerala Legislature, 1962-64; again elected to State Legislature in March, 1965.
