(a) the number of candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories selected in general category
on the basis of merit in civil services examination conducted by UPSC since 2005 and the cadre
allotted to them;
(b) whether reserved category candidates were kept in waiting list and instead general candidates
with lower rank than reserved category candidates were given postings since 2002; and
(c) if so, the number of appointments made in this regard?
