(a) whether the Government has any proposal to provide all the research and knowledge available in the country for all the languages mentioned in VII Schedule of the Constitution;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, whether a study is being done to find out the solution for the same; and
(d) whether the digital library scheme of the Ministry is likely to provide books only in English and if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): Bharatvani is a project with the objective of delivering knowledge in and about all the languages in India using multimedia formats through a web portal. This project is a part of the effort to create a knowledge society in the age of Digital India. Bharatvani collects knowledge content in all the listed languages in multimedia formats from Government and Non Governmental Institutions, Educational Institutions, Boards of Education, Universities and Publication Houses.
