(a) the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) functioning in the country as on date, State-wise;
(b) the details of loans disbursed to the MSME sector under Prime Minister Aatmanirbhar Bharat Scheme and the number of MSME benefitted therefrom; and
(c) the details of employment generated in these industries as on date, State/Sector-wise?

(a): As per Udyog Aadhaar Portal, number of MSMEs registered (since September 2015 to 30.06.2020) in All India was 102,32,468. The State/UT wise details are attached as annexure-I.
On 1st July, 2020, after enactment of new definition of MSMEs, a new registration portal ‘Udyam Registration’ has been launched by M/o MSME and so far 21,25,844 MSMEs are registered on the portal in All India (from 01.07.2020 to 08.02.2021). The State/UT wise details are attached as annexure-II.
(b): As part of the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) was introduced as an emergency measure to combat the unprecedented crisis caused in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. The scheme is valid till 31.3.2021 or till guarantees for an amount of Rs 3,00,000 crore is sanctioned, whichever is earlier. As informed by National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Limited (NCGTC), as on 25.1.2021, the cumulative sanctioned amount under the scheme is Rs. 2.39 lakh crore.
(c): Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), the estimated employment generated (number of persons) in micro enterprises during the years 2019-20 and 2020-21(as on 31.12.2020) are 5.33 lakh and 2.55 lakh respectively. The State/UT wise details are attached as annexure-III.
