(b) whether the State of Gujarat has sent any proposal to the Government related to provision of balanced food under National Nutrition Mission;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the details of action taken on the said proposal so far?

(a) A total amount of Rs 29976.16 lakhs has been released to the State of Gujarat under POSHAN Abhiyaan (erstwhile National Nutrition Mission) during the last three Financial years. The details of funds released and utilized during the last three years by the state of Gujarat under POSHAN Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission) is at Annexure I.
In addition, under Anganwadi Services Scheme, Rs. 99395.5 Lakhs for Supplementary Nutrition Programme and Rs 89389.74 Lakhs for ICDS (General) have been released to the state of Gujarat during last three State Financial Years. The details of funds released and utilised during last three years by the of Gujarat under Anganwadi Services scheme is at Annexure II.
(b) to (d) No such proposal related to provision of balanced food under POSHAN Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission) has been received by the Ministry from the State of Gujarat.
