Question : IRREGULARITIES IN FCI

(a) whether he has made a surprise visit to the godowns of Food Corporation of India situated in Delhi in the month of July, 2002;

(b) if so, the shortcomings found during this visit;

(c) whether the officials held responsible for these shortcomings were apprehended; and

(d) the action taken by the Government against these officials?

(a): Yes, Sir. Surprise inspection of Mayapuri depot of FCI was conducted on 27th July, 2002.

(b),(c)&(d): No irregularity was finally established.
