(a) the details of accounts opened under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) launched for girls in the country during the last three years, State-wise;
(b) the substantial steps being taken for successful implementation of this scheme for providing maximum benefits to the girls in the country; and
(c) the number of girls benefitted from the said scheme during the last three years, State-wise?

(a) & (c): The details of account opened (State-wise) under the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Scheme (SSA) during the last three years is attached as ‘Annexure-A’.
(b) The Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA) Scheme is being given due audio, video electronic and print media publicity. Campaigns to open accounts are also launched from time to time for information of the public by Department of Posts (DoP). The details of publicity / campaign run by NSI / DoP is given below:
