(a) whether the Government is contemplating on proposal regarding setting up Grahak Suvidha Kendras in various cities of the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of the cities identified for setting- up the said Grahak Suvidha Kendras, State-wise/city-wise; and
(d) the other efforts being made by the Government to make the customers/consumers aware of their rights?

(d) : To make consumers aware of their rights, the Govt. has launched the “Jago Grahak Jago” campaign through print, electronic, outdoor and social media for consumer awareness and advocacy of consumer rights. Consumer awareness and education is also promoted by State Governments with Central assistance under the Consumer Welfare Fund.
