CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai is in the process of identifying the locations in the States of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Punjab for setting up training centers for imparting skill training in leather trade based on the skill training requirement of the artisans and facilities of training partners.
