(a) whether construction work of roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak
Yojana (PMGSY) has been stopped in Buldhana district of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor and the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(c) if not, the names of the places in the said district where roads have been
constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana during the last year
and the current year?

(a)to(c): `Rural road` is a State subject and the execution of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak
Yojana(PMGSY) is done by the State Governments. Further, States are taken as a unit
for implementation of projects under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and
district-wise details are not monitored. However, State has informed that construction of
work of roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has not been
stopped in Buldhana district of Maharashtra and 12 works in 2010-11 and 14 works in
2011-12 have been completed.
