(a) the names of Panchayats in Banda and Fatehpur districts in Uttar Pradesh to which cooking gas is being supplied ;
(b) the number of such villages which are 100-500 yards off the main roads;
(c) whether the Government propose to provide free home delivery service of the gas cylinders ;
(d) if so, the details thereof ; and
(e) the locations and number of gas agencies proposed to be opened in Banda and Fatehpur districts in Uttar Pradesh during the year 2004-2005?

(a) : At present, Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) are supplying cooking gas cylinders in 414 Panchayats of Banda district and 220 Panchayats of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
(b) : As per information available with OMCs, 206 villages in Banda district and 24 villages in Fatehpur district fall within 100-500 yards off the main roads.
(c) & (d) : LPG distributors of OMCs are providing free home delivery service of LPG cylinders to their consumers falling within their area of operation.
(e) : OMCs have planned to set up LPG distributorships at Korajhanabad, Devmai, Malwan, Telyandi and Haswa in Fatehpur district and one distributorship at Banda in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh.
