(a) whether a Special Group has been set up by the Planning Commission for generating
10 million additional jobs per year during the Tenth Plan period;
(b) if so, whether the said Group has prepared any action plan in this regard;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the time by which the recommendations of the Group are likely to be implemented
by the Government?

strategy and programmes for generating 10 million additional employment opportunities per
year over the Tenth Plan period;
