(a) & (b) In view of enhanced availability of financial services to the poor in both rural and urban areas and drastic reduction in uptake of loans of the Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, it has been decided to review the need for continuation of RMK in its present form and institutional frame. Related organizational matters are dependent on the outcome of such review.
