(a) and (b): The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has
informed that a National Seminar on “Dalit Households in Village Economicsâ€
was organized by the Institute at Kolkata on January, 7-8, 2011.
Various aspects of deprivation of Dalit Households in Rural India were
discussed in the National Seminar.
