(a) Total number of active job seekers registered on National Career Service Portal as of July 2021 is 99.64 lakhs while the corresponding figure for September 2020 was 103 lakhs.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is implementing the following schemes across the country:

1 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana (PMKVY) This Scheme is for imparting short-term skill training to youth and for Recognition of Prior Learning of informally trained labour in National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned
qualifications.
2 Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) Scheme It is meant for imparting skill training to the socio-economically backward and educationally disadvantaged groups of urban / rural population such as neo-literates, semi-literates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women and girls, slum dwellers, migrant workers, etc.
3 National Apprenticeship
Promotion Scheme (NAPS) This Scheme is for promoting apprenticeship training and increasing the engagement of apprentices by providing financial support to industrial establishments undertaking apprenticeship program under The Apprentices Act, 1961.
4 Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) This scheme is for providing long-term training in 137 trades through 14,604 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the country.

(b) Currently, two Skill Development schemes viz Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (Centrally Sponsored State Managed) and MukhyaMantri Kaushal VikasYojna are being run by Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority.1604 candidates have been imparted training during the year of 2018-19 by Livelihood College, Jashpur and Raigarh. The details of trades in which the training has been imparted in the Livelihood College are placed at Annexure II.
(c) 7.04 lakh candidates have been placed under the PMKVY Scheme during the Financial Year 2018-19.
