(a) the efforts made by the various National Institutes in the country working for various aspects of `Disability` in the area of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR);

(b) whether any campaigns have been undertaken by these institutes in educating and creating awareness among the disabled; and

(a) to (c) The National Institutes for disabilities working under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment undertake manpower development & research and provide rehabilitation services in their respective fields. The outreach programmes of the National Institutes are organized through camps where assessment, certification of disability, supply of aids & appliances, vocational guidance, counselling & awareness generation are taken up to facilitate community based rehabilitation.
