Question : Roads Construction under PMGSY

(a) the details of roads constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) including the lengths of roads in Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar;

(b) the funds sanctioned and released for each component of roads and the status of their completion during the last four years in Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar;

(c) the details of roads being planned/approved/under consideration for the upcoming projects in the States including Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar, district-wise; and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The details of roads constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) including the lengths of roads in Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar is as per Annexure –I.

(b): The funds sanctioned and released under PMGSY and the status of their utilization during the last four years in Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar is as per Annexure- II. The status of completion of roads is reflected in Annexure-I.

(c) to (d): The allocated road length to Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat under PMGSY III is as under.

No proposal has so far been received and pending for sanction at Ministry of Rural Development under PMGSY-III in respect of West Bengal and Bihar States for the year 2019-20. Gujarat, has submitted aproposal under PMGSY-III for its processing/sanction in the Ministry of Rural Development..The district wise proposal submitted by Gujarat is attached as Annexure III.
