(a) whether the Government have organised national workshops on rural housing and habitat in collaboration with the Council for Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) during the last five years;
(b) if so, the details and objectives thereof; and
(c) the funds allocated by the Government to non-Government Organisations under various rural housing schemes during 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 so far, State-wise particularly to the State of Karnataka?

(a) The Government have not organised any National workshop on rural housing and habitat in collaboration with the Council for Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) in the last five years.
(b) In view of (a) above, question does not arise.
(c) State-wise allocation of funds to Non-Governmental Organisations under various rural housing schemes during the year 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 are annexed. No funds have been allocated to Non- Governmental Organisations in Karnataka during 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 under various Rural Housing Schemes.
