whether the Government intends to initiate talks with the South-East and Far-East Asian countries to have a common currency for purposes of trade amongst these countries on the pattern the European Union has done, and in the background that Asia is the largest consumer and producer of goods and services in the whole world?

At present, there is no proposal to initiate talks with the South-East and Far-East Asian countries to have a common currency for the purpose of trade amongst these countries on the pattern of the European Union.
