Question : Beneficiaries under PMAY-Grameen

(a) the total number of beneficiaries covered under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Grameen (PMAY-G) in the State of Uttar Pradesh, district-wise;

(b) the number of beneficiaries to whom money has been sanctioned in the State of Uttar Pradesh, district-wise;

(c) the completion percentage of the houses in Uttar Pradesh out of the beneficiaries to whom money has been sanctioned, district-wise; and

(d) the time by which the Government intends to achieve 100 per cent completion of the houses for the selected beneficiaries?

(a) to (c) The total number of houses allocated to Uttar Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) is 26,15,951. Out of this, as on 29.07.2021, 25,20,478 houses have been sanctioned and first instalment has been released to 24,34,626 beneficiaries. The district-wise total number of houses sanctioned, number of beneficiaries to whom funds have been released (atleast first installment) and completion percentage of houses (75.65%) out of beneficiaries to whom funds have been released in the State of Uttar Pradesh under PMAY-G as on 29.07.2021 are given in Annexure.

(d) The houses sanctioned to the eligible beneficiaries of Uttar Pradesh are targeted for completion by March, 2022.
