(a) whether the UT of Andaman and Nicobar administration has implemented online e-procurement solution to bring transparency in the tendering process as per the OM of the Finance Ministry;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether such demand has been received from the public representative of the concerned UT; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon along with the expected date of implementation of the e-procurement solution?
(a) and (b): UT of Andaman and Nicobar Administration has not been able to implement online e-procurement solution due to poor internet connectivity.
(c) and (d): As per the demand received from the public representatives, it has been decided to implement e-procurement solution in five departments on pilot basis through intranet mode. M/s Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation (KEONICS), Karnataka has been identified for implementation of the e-procurement Software and provide training to the Stake holders in the pilot phase. The complete roll out in all districts can be undertaken after analysis of the results of the pilot phase.
