(a) whether the system of Gender Budgeting has been put in place by the Government;
(b) if so, the number of ministries currently employing the Gender Budgeting framework;
(c) whether the Government has increased the allocation for Gender Budgeting during the
last three years; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a)to (b): Yes Sir. The Ministry of Finance issued directives to all Central Ministries /
Departments to set up Gender Budgeting Cells. As per information available, so far 56 Ministries
/ Departments have set up Gender Budgeting Cells.
(c) to (d): There is an increase in allocations for women as reported in the Gender Budget Statement. Allocations reflected in the Gender Budget Statement in the last three years are
given below.
