(a) to (c) : All three Distribution Companies (Discoms) of Madhya Pradesh executing electrification works under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) i.e. Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd. (MPPoKVVCL), Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd. (MPPsKVVCL) and Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd. (MPMKVVCL) have reported to Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC), the nodal agency for RGGVY, that no instance has been observed where wires are not erected even after many years of erection of poles. RGGVY project was sanctioned on 02.01.2006 for Ujjain district, it was awarded on 4.08.2006 and project was expected to be completed by 03.08.2008 as per RGGVY guidelines. The scope of work for LT line under RGGVY in District Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh is 548 kms and out of which stringing work has already been completed in 531.92 kms. It is State Discoms responsibility to supply power after work is completed under RGGVY.
