(a) whether there are surplus staff in Prasar Bharati Corporation;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the action taken to utilise the surplus staff in some other Departments/Ministries;
and
(d) the details of relay stations/units to be wound-up during the current year alongwith
the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) : Prasar Bharati Corporation have informed that there is no surplus staff in
Doordarshan and All India Radio as compared to the sanctioned strength..
(c) : Does not arise.
(d) : No relay stations/units are proposed to be wound up during the
current year.
