(a) to (c) The Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Revamped Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) has been approved on 13.04.2022 for implementation from 01.04.2022 to 31.03.2026 all over India including institutions of rural local government in non-Part-IX areas, where Panchayats do not exist. Various components are supported under the scheme that also includes Projects for Innovative activities and Project based support for economic Development & Income Enhancement. Details of the Projects received from the State Government of Madhya Pradesh under these components during 2022-23 are at Annexure.
(d) The schemes of (i) ‘Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA)’ with the major objectives of capacity building of the elected representatives and other functionaries of the Panchayati Raj Institutions, (ii) ‘Incentivization of Panchayats (IoP)’ for giving Awards including financial incentives to the best performing Panchayats for their good work for improving delivery of services and public goods and (iii) ‘Mission Mode Project on e-Panchayats’ to fund various e-governance projects for promoting transparent, accountable and efficient rural local self-government are implemented by the Ministry in all over the Country including the non-Part IX areas of the State of Madhya Pradesh.
