(a) whether the Union Government have received proposals from Madhya Pradesh and
Karnataka for additional assistance from National Calamity Contingency Fund and foodgrains to
combat drought;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) by when the required amount is to be released and foodgrains provided?
