The Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance (Shri Namo Narain Meena)
(a):- As per provisions contained in Section 11 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976,
the tenure of the Chairman of a Regional Rural Bank cannot exceed five years.
(b):- A list of the Chairmen RRBs, as on date alongwith tenure, as reported by National Bank
for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is annexed.
