(a) The States/UT-wise details of museums granted financial assistance under "Museum Grant Scheme" during last five years and current year (2016-17 to 2021-22) is at Annexure-I.
(b) The details of new museums approved during last five years and current year (2016-17 to 2021-22) is at Annexure-II.
(c) The State/UT-wise details of funds disbursed and amount utilized under “Museum Grant Scheme” during last five years (2016-17 to 2021-22) is at Annexure-III.
(d) & (e): The Ministry of Culture has taken up the task of digitisation of collections of ten museums under its domain through Jatan programme since April, 2014. Two Archaeological museums namely ASI Goa museum and ASI Nagarjunakonda museum are included in this programme and the collections of these museums are available at Ministry’s website museumsofindia.gov.in.
