a) whether running scale has been given to all employees since nationalisation of central insurance companies and Life Insurance Corporation of India;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(c) whether the Government is planning to provide running scale to these employees, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): The pay scales of the employees of nationalised insurance companies are determined after taking into account the duties and responsibilities attached to each post. The time scale pay structure adopted by the insurance companies provide adequate stages to keep their employees financially compensated and motivated for self development.
