(a) Yes, Sir. Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, has been putting in efforts to popularize `Ham Radio` in schools.
(b) Vigyan Prasar organizes lectures / demonstrations to popularize `Ham Radio` in the schools, and encourages interested schools set up Ham Radio Club Stations. Vigyan Prasar has also brought out informative booklets for the purpose.
(c) Lectures / demonstrations in schools and for the general public, organization of training programmes to help individuals become hams, setting up of Ham Radio Club Stations in schools / colleges, and availability of `Ham Radio` equipment at a reasonable price would help popularizing `Ham Radio` in the country.
