(a) to (c): - The Group of India Hydrocarbon Vision -2025 has submitted its report to the Government.
The salient features of the report inter-alia include to assure energy security by achieving self reliance through increased indigenous production and investment in equity oil abroad, to enhance the quality of life by improving products standards, to develop hydrocarbon sector as a globally competitive industry through technology upgradation and capacity building, to have a free market, to ensure oil security for the country keeping in view strategic and defence consideration.
The Indian Hydrocarbon Vision - 2025 report has been tabled before both the Houses of the Parliament.
