(a) whether the Government has ordered any survey to assess,
repair and renovate all the existing Sainik rest houses and undertake
construction of new such rest houses;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise including Haryana; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) No, Madam.
(b) & (c): Proposals for construction of Sainik Rest Houses are
formulated by the respective State Governments based on their requirement.
Sainik Rest Houses belong to State Governments. Central Government only
provides financial assistance to the extent of 50% of the construction cost.
Authority for maintenance including renovation of Sainik Rest Houses is
vested with the concerned State Governments/UTs.
