(a) & (b): The Government reviews and upgrades the equipment of fighter pilots of
the Indian Air Force, based on operational, safety and security requirements. This is
a continuous process. It is ensured that state-of-the-art equipment is a part of all
the new procurements of fighter aircraft in IAF.
