Question : Funds to Odisha under Various Schemes

(a) the names of various schemes being implemented by the Ministry in Odisha at present;
(b) the number of beneficiaries of such schemes, district-wise;
(c) whether the funds under these schemes have been spent within the prescribed time limit, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(d) whether the Government of Odisha has forwarded proposals requesting for release of funds under various schemes to the Ministry;
(e) if so, the details of all those schemes where the release of funds to the Government of Odisha is pending along with the reasons therefor; and
(f) the further steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Union Government for early release of funds in order to enable the Government of Odisha to carry out the said schemes successfully?

(a) The names of various schemes being implemented by the Ministry in the State of Odisha at present are as under:
1. POSHAN Abhiyaan
2. Anganwadi Services Schemes
3. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)
4. One Stop Centre and Universalization of Women Helplines
5. Child Protection Services Scheme
6. Scheme for Adolescent Girls(SAG)
7. Swadhar Greh Scheme
8. Ujjawala Scheme
9. Working Women Hostel
(b) & (c) The funds are released and utilized as per schematic norms. The number of beneficiaries is annexed at Annexure-I.

(d) to (f) The State Government of Odisha has forwarded proposals for release of funds under Swadhar Greh & Ujjawala Schemes. State Governments/UTs are regularly advised to submit the Utilization Certificates under the scheme on time to enable Central Government to further release of fund as per Budget allocations and schematic norms.
