(a) the number of workers covered under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana at present in
the country including mining areas of Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, State-wise;
(b) whether the agricultural workers have also been covered under the scheme; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c): As reported by the Government of Jharkhand, so far, about 3000 smart cards have
been issued to beneficiaries. These beneficiaries include agricultural workers also. Chhattisgarh
and Orissa are in the process of completing the procedural requirements. The scheme is likely to
roll out in these States during current financial year.
