Question : IRREGULARITIES IN THE FUNCTIONING O OF DRDAS



(a) whether the cases of corruption and irregularities in the functioning of District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs) have come to the notice of the Government during each of the last three years and the current year;

(b) if so, the details thereof, State/UTwise;

(c) whether the Government has conducted any enquiry in this regard, if so, the details and outcome thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and

(d) the action taken by the Government in each of such cases during the above period, State/UT and year-wise?

(a) No case of corruption and irregularities in functioning of DRDA has been reported. However complaints and grievances against/ of DRDA employees are received. These matters are referred to the concerned State Govt. as recruitment and service conditions of DRDA employees are governed by the concerned State Govt.

(b) to (d): In view of above question does not arise.
