(b) : Recruitment in PSBs/RRBs is a dynamic process which depends upon business volume, business growth, employee strength and retirements etc. Accordingly, banks undertake recruitment of staff to fill vacancies on ongoing basis as per their requirements. The details of the vacancies/recruitment (including those under process) in PSBs/RRBs for the 2014-15 are at Annexure-lll.

(c) : The PSBs/RRBs have been granted managerial autonomy in the matters related to Human Resources (HR) including recruitment and PSBs assess/anticipate vacancies and intimate the same to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) well in advance. IBPS completes the selection process before the financial year is over. RRBs conduct their recruitment process to fill the vacancies accordingly.
