(a) the number of textile mills functioning in the country, State and Union
Territory-wise;
(b) whether the Government proposes to promote and set up new textile industries, particularly in the rural areas in the country, so as to arrest migration of rural folk to urban area; and
(c) if so, the details thereof, State and Union Territory-wise?
