(a) the status of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) [PMAY-G] in terms of houses constructed during the last one year, State-wise;
(b) whether the Government proposes to change the guidelines of [PMAY-G] for its effective implementation and if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the constraints being faced in regard to funding pattern, project outlay etc. for its effective implementation?

(a) : The erstwhile rural housing scheme Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) has been restructured into Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana –Gramin (PMAY-G) from 1.4.2016.
A statement indicating no. of houses constructed under erstwhile IAY in the last year (2015-16) State/UT-wise is given in the Annexure-I.
(b) : The Framework of Implementation of PMAY-G is under finalisation.
