(a) the details of funds allocated/released to social Welfare institutions during 2004-05;
(b) whether the Government has received details of the expenditure incurred
out of the allocated funds to aforesaid institutions; and
(c) if so, the details thereof, institution-wise?

(a) The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has allocated Rs. 241.28
crores and released grant-in-aid assistance of Rs. 99.66 crores as 1st
installment under 10 Schemes to 1783 voluntary organizations in 2004-05.
(b) & (c) The funds released in 2004-05 will be utilized in the current year and
utilization certificates for the same will be due in 2005-06
