(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) proposes to install two Doppler Weather Radars in
the Himalayan region to monitor snowfall/rain and weather parameters in collaboration with
Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment, DRDO.
(c) The installation of the two radars is planned to be completed by 3rd quarter of 2011.
