Question : DDA Flats

Will the Minister OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:

(a) the location of surrendered flats allotted under Delhi Development Authority (DDA) housing scheme 2014;

(b) whether DDA proposes to allot these flats to economically weaker section;

(c) if so, the details thereof and if not the reasons therefor;

(d) whether the Government has received complaints regarding construction quality, road connectivity, water and power supply on the flats constructed under the scheme; and

(e) if so, the details thereof and the action taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a): Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has informed that 9,761 flats allotted under Housing Scheme-2014 have been surrendered in Rohini, Siraspur, Dwarka, Nasirpur, Raghubir Nagar, Loknayakpuram, Narela, Mukherjee Nagar, Kondli, Jasola and Todapur.

(b) & (c): No, Madam. DDA has informed that the surrendered flats are of various categories and will be re-allotted to eligible applicants in the next Housing Scheme, as and when it is launched.

(d) & (e): Yes, Madam. DDA has informed that it has received such complaints which are attended to by its Engineering Department.
